Launched in 2007 by Kerry Bower and her husband Peter, Raine & Humble is a family-run Australian business based in Melbourne, who share heartfelt, ethically made designs from their home to the world.

It's not just the beautifully designed and crafted home items that makes Raine & Humble so special to us here at Little Cottage Loves, but also, and particularly, their fullly wholehearted commitment to sustainability, ethically sourced mediums and planet friendly methodologies. 

Working closely with their Partner based in India since 2012, their focus is fully set on bringing beautiful homewares without compromising their values. This not only goes such a long way in helping our beautiful planet, but also gives me personally, heartfelt pride to have the opportunity to share their gorgeous ranges with you

Their contemporary, fresh, yet warmly familiar designs, bring a real sense of comfort when placed in the home. Their deep and rich use of colours that blend beautifully into the neutral range whilst cleverly introducing patterns and gentle tones compliment existing home décor beautifully. 

When it comes to the look, the true magic for us is although each item is brand new, when bringing a Raine & Humble piece into your home, you get the genuine and truly unique feeling the item has belonged in your home all the time. It really is quite a thing to have something brand new feel like its belonged before. 

When you receive your Raine & Humble treasures, you will immediately feel the quality of the mediums. The textiles used, although sustainable and often recycled, feel soft and of real quality, there is clearly no compromise when they consider how their textiles should feel.

... and when it comes to the wood they choose in their items, each piece is so beautifully individual it gives you that real sense of your item being truly one-off, almost as if you sourced it yourself in a little shop somewhere on the corner of an exotic market. 

All in all, its really not hard to love everything Raine & Humble are about and all they create...

And for a small business like Little Cottage Loves to have the opportunity to do something right for our planet, whilst also bringing real joy to peoples homes through this gorgeous brand, now that really is the most perfect combination.
