Our Artificial Thistle Stems have been designed to represent Thistles in new bloom, so are a soft Cornflower Blue colour. They make a great all-season stem, looking beautiful as part of both Summer and Winter floral arrangements.

Eryngium Blue Thistle, also known as Sea Holly, are celebrated for their spiny, architectural flowerheads. Often found planted to complement herbaceous planting schemes in Cottage Gardens, they flower from July through to September and if left, provide an excellent display of dried seed-heads through the winter months, looking particularly gorgeous when covered in frost or snow.

All stems are made from coated wire and are designed to be bent, shaped and re-shaped to best suit your arrangements. For more permanent floral arrangements, artificial stems can be cut to size using wire cutters (we recommend using gloves and eye protection if you do this).

* Please note, from time to time when packing your florals, we will gently curve your stems into the box. This helps us minimise oversized packaging, which in turn helps us keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.
