We’ve planted ours with a white Lace cap Hydrangea in the larger pot and filled the smaller one with tender herbs and a cheerful alpine. They’d look just as lovely with little olive trees nestled inside… or two mini spruce pines at Christmas, ribbon-tied and twinkling on the doorstep (see second photo for festive inspiration).
The only thing we would say is if you plan to plant directly into them, make sure to drill three to five holes in the base for drainage and you are good to go.
