We are delighted you found us here. This page is especially for our local community, a chance to share a little more about who we are, what we love to share, and how we hope to bring a little of something beautiful right to your door here in Mid-Nottinghamshire.
Little Cottage Loves, Garden and Home
If you haven't met us yet, we are Rosie & Mark. We founded Little Cottage Loves in 2020 as an online collection of home and garden finds curated around our love of traditional cottage and countryside living.
For the last six years, we have been working away behind the scenes building our online boutique and now, we feel it would be lovely to open up our little space to share with our neighbours and offer a truly personal, in-person delivery service straight to your door.
Located in the very heart of the village of Carlton-on-Trent, (just off the A1 between Newark and Retford), we work from a private studio tucked inside the very special and historic Coach House, identifiable from the lane by our lovely rooftop weathervane.
While we aren't a traditional walk-in high street retail shop, our private space is styled lovingly as a working studio which benefits from the charm of being inside the beautiful Grade II listed building.
Unlike large high street brands that carry hundreds of identical items, we choose to keep our collection intentionally small. Instead, we buy in the way we would when dressing our own cottage. Our style, a blended mix of contemporary and heritage, sits outside of trends and instead belongs at home within what we cherish as timeless style. Because we don't hold vast amounts of stock or follow rigid seasons, we are very proud to say our treasures do tend to settle into new homes quickly.
Whether you browse our online boutique or visit us, you will see our focus is on unique artisan home decor, interior styling items such as sumptuous cushions, candles and lanterns, solar lighting, cosy textiles and even practical items like doormats and soaps. We have a gorgeous selection of reclaimed wooden furniture as well as high quality kitchen and home items from suppliers who have transparent eco-considered processes. We also partner directly with trusted, time-proven luxury makers for our larger statement furniture and cottage garden adornments, from zinc planters to outdoor decorative accents.

see what's just arrivedYes! Being a part of our local community matters deeply to us, and we wanted to share a warm invitation, exclusively for our neighbours. So, if you find yourself with a little time and would like to come to meet us and have a little look around, please feel comfortable to pop us an email and we will gladly arrange a private appointment to welcome you.
Alongside studio visits, we are also delighted to offer a personal hand-delivery touch for our nearest neighbours. This dedicated service is designed for local customers who value the safety and care of hand-delivered purchases. Whilst we trust our carefully chosen couriers, having the opportunity to personally hand deliver to our local community really is a treat for us.
Our personal delivery route follows the historic Great North Road corridor. We serve the cluster of villages bordered by the River Trent to the East, stretching from the East Drayton and Tuxford areas in the North, across to the villages of Laxton and Kneesall in the west, and down to our neighbours in the Muskhams to the South.
Our route also includes any neighbouring hamlets, country lanes, and private estates within and between these areas.
Because we are independent, we have the freedom to shape what we stock around what our community needs. So, if there's something you'd love to find when you visit, whether that's a particular type of product, a gift option, or something handy to source locally, please do let us know. We can't promise we can source everything, but we'll always do our best.
